Amigurumi Little Rebel Free Crochet Pattern

Materials: Embroidery needle &

black yarn, 1 rattle, 2x safety eyes

(8 mm), fiber fill.

Yarn: Hobbii Rainbow 8/4 in

colors: Black, White, Light Peach.

How much yarn will I use?

Black (009): 1 skein

White (001): 1 skein

Light Peach (48): 1 skein

ch = chain

sc = single crochet

M1 = 2 sc in the same stitch (increase)

Sc2tog = crochet 2 sc together (decrease)

Head

Rnd 1: 6 sc in a magic ring [6]

Rnd 2: M1 6x [12]

Rnd 3: 1 sc, M1 6x [18]

Rnd 4: 2 sc, M1 6x [24]

Rnd 5: 3 sc, M1 6x [30]

Rnd 6: 4 sc, M1 6x [36]

Rnd 7: 5 sc, M1 6x [42]

Rnd 8: 6 sc, M1 6x [48]

Rnd 9: 7 sc, M1 6x [54]

Rnd 10: 8 sc, M1 6x [60]

Rnd 11-20: 1 sc in each st (10 Rnds) [60]

Place the safety eyes between Rnds 15 and 16,

with 10 sts between the eyes.

Rnd 21: 8 sc, sc2tog 6x [54]

Rnd 22: 7 sc, sc2tog 6x [48]

Rnd 23: 6 sc, sc2tog 6x [42]

Rnd 24: 5 sc, sc2tog 6x [36]

Add the filling in the head and continue to stuff as your work.

Rnd 25: 4 sc, sc2tog 6x [30]

Rnd 26: 3 sc, sc2tog 6x [24]

Rnd 27: 2 sc, sc2tog 6x [18]

Add a little more filling in the head, cut the yarn leaving a long tail for attaching to the body later.

Ear (make 2)

Rnd 1: 8 sc in the magic ring [8].

Cut the yarn leaving a long tail, do not pull the magic ring tightly closed, but make the 8 sc into a

half moon shape.

Attach the ears securely between Rnds 15 and 19, 6 sts from the eyes.

Embroider the nose between Rnds 16 and 17, and the mouth over Rnd 19 and 20.

Arms (make 2)

Begin with Light Peach.

Rnd 1: 6 sc in the magic ring [6]

Rnd 2: M1 6x [12]

Rnd 3-6: 1 sc in each st (4 Rnds) [12]

Change to white:

Rnd 7-9: 1 sc in each st (3 Rnds) [12]

Change to black:

Rnd 10-12: 1 sc in each st (3 Rnds) [12]

Change to white:

Rnd 13-15: 1 sc in each st (3 Rnds) [12]

Add filling in the arms to Rnd 13.

Change to black:

Rnd 20: fold the arm flat and crochet through both sides with 3 sc.

Legs and body

Begin with black

Rnd 1: 6 sc in the magic ring [6]

Rnd 2: M1 6x [12]

Rnd 3: 1 sc, M1 6x [18]

Rnd 4: 2 sc, M1 6x [24]

Rnd 5-6: 1 sc in each st [24]

Change to white:

Rnd 7–9: 1 sc in each st (3 Rnds) [24]

Change to black:

Rnd 10-12: 1 sc in each st (3 Rnds) [24]

Change to white:

Rnd 13-15: 1 sc in each st (3 Rnds) [24]

Change to black:

Rnd 16-18: 1 sc in each st (3 Rnds) [24], Tie off fort his leg.

Make a second leg to match and do not tie off. Now work the body.

Change to white:

Rnd 19: place the legs next to each other, crochet the legs together with a sl st and continue to

crochet across the first leg, 24 sc and across the second leg’s 24 sc [48], This is now the new beginning of the rnd.

Rnd 20-21: 1 sc in each st (2 Rnds) [48] (together with Rnd 19 = Rnds)

Change to black:

Rnd 22-24: 1 sc in each st (3 Rnds) [48]

Change to white:

Rnd 25-27: 1 sc in each st (3 Rnds) [48]

Change to black:

Change to white:

Add filling in the legs and body, place the rattle in the body.

Change to black:

Rnd 35: 5 sc, sc2tog 6x [36]

Change to white:

Rnd 37: 3 sc, sc2tog 6x [24]

Rnd 38: 2 sc, sc2tog 6x [18]

Rnd 39: 1 sc in each st [18]

Add more filling in the body and weave in the ends.

Place the head on the body and check that the eyes are sitting evenly. Sew the head securely with

the tail. Add extra filling in the neck as needed. The head should not wiggle.

Sew the arms securely on Rnd 38 of the body.

Hat

Begin with black

Rnd 1: 6 sc in the Magic Ring [6]

Rnd 2: M1 6x [12]

Rnd 3: 1 sc, M1 6x [18]

Rnd 4: 2 sc, M1 6x [24]

Change to white:

Rnd 5: 24 sc, working in the back loop only [24]

Rnd 6: 1 sc in each st [24]

Change to black:

Rnd 7–8: 1 sc in each st (2 Rnds) [24]

Cut the yarn, leaving a long tail. Sew the hat to the head.
